Letting the cigarette dangle from between her fingers, the not-so-young feral looked around the grounds of Xavier's Institute. It was sunset, Chleo's favorite time of day. The time of day where everything seemed completely perfect. No matter how far from the truth that really was. Things had begun to get complicated in Chleo's life. Something she didn't like but knew came with the territory of possibly living forever.
There was this guy. There's always a guy, Chleo reminded herself internally, dragging her cigarette deeply. Shop teacher, Erick Bancroft. Tall. Muscular. Strong. And really not that bad on the eyes. Which was probably one of the many reasons she had gone on more than a couple dates with him. In fact, one could assume they were "dating" now. Not a couple. Just seeing each other.
In reality, they probably were a couple. But there were certain things Chleo was not going to imply nor admit to herself. Especially when those things could be considered betraying Wade. A man she had fallen completely in love with. A man who's dead, again that pesky voice of reason poked at the back of Chleo's mind. And really that reasoning, that thought, was the only reason she even considered the idea of seeing Erick mildly okay. Not to mention he's insanely attractive. Inhaling the cigarette smoke deeply, Chleo leaned against the stone wall and watched the sunset. A time now ruined by thought.

Walking out of the school Erick looked up at the sky. "Woo wee. Look at that purty sky." He said to himself very silently. Looking around the grounds for anyone he took up a cigarette from his shirt pocket and with a flick of a match lit and dragged in the smoke from it deeply. Slowly he began to take a small walk around the big school building. Eying a fellow teacher that he knew all to well he made his way over to her, blowing out smoke as he walked. Once he was near to her he nodded at her and said. "How'r you doin Miss Chleo?" with a smile one his face.

Taking a last drag on his smoke he flicked it to the ground and snuffed it out with a twist of his boot. He and Chloe and went out a few times and he had to admit he was beginning to really like the woman. Even though he knew her to be older than him considerably, it did not bother him as he thought age is just a number right? "So what have you been up to? Looks like your doin a bit of hidin." He joked to her as he put his back to the wall that she had been leaning on. Folding up his arms to his chest he too followed suit and leaned back up against the wall as he glanced from her then to around the empty schoolyard.

How're you doing Miss Chleo? Erick's voice would've caused her to jump if she were a normal person. But alas! She was not. Chleo had heard the footsteps approaching and the sound they made (based on weight, ability to carry one's self,etc.) and the breaths had alerted Chleo to the fact that it was Erick approaching her.So what have you been up to? Looks like you're doing a bit of hidin'.
Chleo chuckled, "Not hiding, no. Just being...out of the way. It's what one tends to do when you've become used to living in the shadows most of your life. There's a tendency for solitude. To get lost in your own thoughts. It's a habit one can't really break at my age." In reality, Chleo didn't want to tell Erick about what was actually happening. About how she felt like she was betraying Wade. Not that he knew who Wade was, not to Chleo's knowledge anyways. She'd tried to keep her time as part of Weapon X on the down low. So Wade was a subject she hadn't touched upon. Not that she'd have talked about him even if she was open about the whole Weapon X thing.
Looking over, and up, at the tall and handsome man, Chleo couldn't help the smirk that graced her features. "What about you? You been working on the cars like normal? Or was our last date just not that exciting?"

In all honestly Chleo's words still made him think she was hiding but he kept quiet about it as it really was not any of his business anyway. Taking out another cigarette he rolled it between his fingers as he listened to Chleo's question. "What about you? You been working on the cars like normal? Or was our last date just not that exciting?" With a smile he took out a match before glancing her way and answering with, "I don't see how it couldn't of been." Quickly glancing down her whole body he stuck the match and lit up his cigarette silently thinking the whole time about how she was one very good looking woman. And what made it better even was that she had a seemingly level head between her shoulders that gave her a even more sexy air about her. Looking at her again he asked. "So other than that how have ya been doin? He said as he removed the cigarette from his mouth and began to examine the glowing tip lazily. Flicking the tip he put it back on his lips and turned his gaze back over to Cleo awaiting a answer if she were to give one. A smile escaped his lips as he looked into her eyes. That was one thing for certain, he thought. I have never seen eyes like that on anyone before. His smile got a bit bigger as he blew smoke away in the other direction quickly.

The way he stared at her could unnerve her. It was that same appreciative glance she'd gotten most of her life. A look that she wondered about. Chleo wasn't the curviest woman, or the tallest, or the prettiest. In fact she was quite sure she wasn't far above average. Yet people gave her that look. She told herself she'd had to ask Ari about it at some point.
"Mostly dealing with students. Self defense is a hard class to teach. Especially when the girls in the back are giggling about how dreamy you are!" Chleo slapped his arm lightly for emphasis. It was true though. Erick was in reality a gorgeous guy and teenage girls tended to notice gorgeous guys. Just the way of the world really. But Chleo couldn't help but be a little bothered by the thought. Not that Erick would ever sleep with a student just you don't wanna hear how attractive the person your seeing is from other people. This is you being jealous. Or angry. Something like that, Chleo's thoughts laughed as she took a long drag of her cigarette. "Makes it difficult to concentrate when they bring you up." That was was all to true. And she didn't mind telling him. Erick would've made a joke about it anyways and this way she got a little entertainment out of it.

As Erick listened to Chleo talking he smiled. "Now that is funny." he thought. Running a hand through his hair then taking in another drag of his hand made cigarette that was already almost burned down he thought on how hilarious it would have been to see that. Young girls giggling over him. "What a hoot." As Chleo continued on though his smile widened a bit when she said "Makes it difficult to concentrate when they bring you up." That made him laugh silently as he told her. "Ah mkay I see now." Looking over to her as he continued on. "Been doing some gigglin in the back of the class have we? You know .... To much of that messin around, not doin what ya out ta and you'll have to be punished." He said with a playful wink. Throwing down the remains of his cigarette he pulled out two more, and after offering one to Chleo he lit up his own. "These things are gonna to be the death of me yet." He told her with a chuckle. "Its funny though... How you know something that can be so bad for you, yet you keep on doing it." And with that he kept his gaze upon his glowing cigarette lost in a bit of deep thought. Coming to, he put it to his lips and turned his body so that he was facing Chleo but still leaning against the wall, where he said to her, looking straight into her face. "So. Ya wanna go somewheres else?"

Been doing some gigglin in the back of the class have we? You know .... To much of that messin around, not doin what ya out ta and you'll have to be punished. That wink her threw her, Chleo couldn't help the way her breath hitched ever so slightly. She wanted to make a joke. Pull a Wade as it were. But that would involve thinking about how Wade would reply and that was just a path that did not lead to success. So instead she focused on him. He offered her a cigarette, one she accepted gladly, and lit her own as he lit his. And then those words filled her ears. That something can be bad for you and yet you still do it. Hi Erick. Have you met you, she couldn't help the sarcastic response of her brain. Yes he wasn't exactly good for her. But to be fair he was her type and that's what Chleo cared about. At least that's what she told herself.
He turned to face her, his eyes stabbing through her. So. Ya wanna go somewheres else?
Chleo couldn't help her chuckle. Well, Erick was a straightforward guy, "What kind of somewhere else are we talking? Wandering kind of somewhere else? Or the kind where we take off our clothes and get all sweaty?" It was a legitimate question when Erick was involved. Hell! It was a legitimate question when Chleo was involved. There was that animal instinct inside her and half the time it told her to take of his clothes. Something he probably wouldn't mind come to think of it. "Helps me answer that question truthfully. Quite frankly I'd prefer the second one but..." she pointed to the windows of students rooms, "I'm not exactly the quiet type."
What did Wade do to me? the words echoed in her brain and a smirk slid on her face slowly. I dunno. But I kinda like it!

"What kind of somewhere else are we talking? Wandering kind of somewhere else? Or the kind where we take off our clothes and get all sweaty?" Chleo asked him. With a smile Erick answered her with saying. “Well, both would be fine I reckon.” He could not help but let out a bit of a chuckle there. Then she spoke again and then pointed upward. Looking up at the windows he heard her say "I'm not exactly the quiet type." Which made him drop his cigarette from its perch between his lips. Looking down he tried to make it out as if he meant to do that and like the others he stepped on it. Then clearing his throat slightly he replied to her with a devious smile upon his face. "Well i mean if ya really thought that way I reckon we could go take a drive in my car." He said with a jab of his thumb toward the direction behind him. All the while he was thinking of one word and one word only. "Damn!" ... or as he would have said it, "dayuum!" Erick just could not seem to help himself. His manly hormones were just about to get the better of him. And he kind of knew it. It was almost all he could do to just not deck the sexy woman right there and now. He did not know exactly what about her turned him on most but all he knew is that she did it. And to tell you the truth, it kind of seemed like she knew that she did. Pulling out his keys he dangled them on one finger in front of Chleo. "So .... Whaddya say then? We can go have some fun for a while, or we can stay here and keep bein 'ole boring professors."

Chleo really hadn't expected him to call her bluff. But now that he had Chleo found she quite liked the idea. Not exactly in the back of a car but she couldn't exactly wake up the whole school. Which was a real risk with her, it was the animal in her that did it. "Think you can handle me?" Now she was just playing with her food. Something she'd always enjoyed and a habit she hadn't dropped. "I mean, I don't know if you've noticed but I am an animal. In every sense of the word." Instinctively she flashed a fang at him. She should've gone in for the kill. Ari would've. So would James and Victor. But Chleo was a panther. She stalked. Followed her prey carefully. Memorizing each and every move so she could judge the next. So when she pounced she was prepared for everything that came her way. A killer animal instinct had more uses than just reaping death on unsuspecting creatures. No. It was a method of seduction as well. Hinting at one idea while doing nothing to move towards it. Leading them into the actions that have been memorized ever so clearly and burned into the mind of the animal. And then she'd pounce. Or make him pounce. Either way she was in control and that's what really mattered to Chleo. "I could ride you at a gallop until your legs buckled and your eyes rolled up. I've got muscles you've never even dreamed of. I could squeeze you until you popped like warm champagne."

For the first time in his life that he could remember Erick had fallen speechless. It was a odd feeling to him but it was quickly being drowned out from him being utterly and fascinatingly turned on. Her other words had turned him on as well yet he was able to at least smile at them. But after she spoke those last several words he almost hit the ground. Regaining his use of words he spoke to her in a husky tone of voice. "Well now." His 'well" sounding like most people would say 'whale'. Clearing his throat and giving her a playful shake of his head he continued, "You are an animal ain't you?" He said as he moved in close to her. Taking his left hand he ran it down her body, starting from her face and down her shoulder, slowly moving his hand down her side, and finally coming to rest on her hip. Taking his gaze from her face he once again scanned her body and let out a almost inaudible mmmm. Putting his gaze back to her face he moved his face very close to hers, so close that he could feel her hot breath lightly hitting his face. It just seemed to turn him on more. Answering her first question from just a moment earlier he said to her slowly as he kept his eyes locked unto hers. "I'm not really sure if I can handle you but...." Erick had made the first real contact during this interlude. And that was precisely how Chleo had planned it. She had him where she wanted him. And where she wanted him was not in control. Chleo knew guys like Erick, guys who could make girls swoon and melt. Men who were always in control. And the panther had fun switching that around. It made everything so...predatory. Letting him have his appreciative moment, Chleo slid her hand around his and gently looped her index finger around the key ring before lifting it up and shaking it in front of his face with a fanged smirk.
"Hit me with your best shot Professor Bancroft," she purred pulling him towards the garage.

His shirt was to big for her. And the car was cramped. But in a sweaty, post-orgasmic haze none of those things really seemed to matter to Chleo. She climbed half on top of Erick and half over him and dug into her discarded jean's pocket for her pack and a lighter. She slid two cigarettes between her lips, lit them, and popped one between Erick's lips before she moved to a much more comfortable position. Which was mostly straddling him. Though Chleo had no intention of going for another round.
"Professor Bancroft," there was something sexy to Chleo about how it rolled off her tongue, "I vote you walk around the school like this." This time she allowed a genuine smile onto her face, not just a smirk, as she tousled Erick's hair with her free hand. It had been the first time she'd let herself go completely in a long while. And it had been an amazing feeling. A feeling that Wade hadn't, nor could ever, touch or tarnish. "I much prefer you shirtless. It's a good look for you." She dragged her cigarette deeply and happily, she would have to have another after this, and tugged his shirt more comfortably around her form.

"Professor Bancroft, I vote you walk around the school like this.". Chleo's words filled Erick's ears as he lay on the leathered seat of one of his car. One thing was for certain, he had thought as Chleo straddled him after giving him one of her smokes. She was something else. And something else was right. He had never in his life came upon a woman like her he thought. She had the looks, but she also had the attitude that fit him like a glove so to speak. Then with taking the cigarette from his mouth he spoke to her, sliding his hands down her sides at the same time. "I dunno about that Chleo. Could not you getting jealous and killing off giggling students could we?" He chuckled as he replaced his smoke in his mouth before she told him, "I much prefer you shirtless. It's a good look for you." Which got him thinking a bit. Taking in a deep breath he let out a wide puff of smoke before replying to her with, "It is now?" He said humbly looking down at his chest, then with looking back to her he continued with a half grin. "My shirt looks better on you anyhow." Letting out quite a big yawn he tried to stretch as much as the space would allow and then after looking at her for a few moments he asked. "So there, How do ya think i did? I say I handled things the best I could didn't I? I mean seeing how I'm used to handlin cars, that was quite a jump for me." He smiled again wondering how she would react to his teasing.

"Well, women and cars tend to be different. But not by much. Only by about," she held her lips about a half an inch away from his, "this much. But I believe you did very well. The screaming probably should've tipped you off in the first place though." Chuckling lightly, she flicked the ash on the tip of her cigarette in the ash tray before bringing it up to her lips for another long drag. "What I'm more concerned about is if I did well? There's only so much that comes natural and then there's skill. And I have to admit I am a little rusty. It's been about 15 years." The words tumbled from Chleo's lips with no real regard for what might happen. But it was the truth. In reality, Chleo had been worried about her "performance". Not because of Erick, well mildly because of Erick, but because it was probably going to be happening more often now. Because of Erick. Erick was a new chapter in her life and she needed to be prepared for that. After many, many decades of living you'd think that knowledge would come easily to her but not always.
Rolling the tip of her tongue over a fang, Chleo couldn't help the next words that came out of ehr mouth, "You do like me right?" Her eyes widened when she realized the question and with a quick drag, smoke billowed out of her mouth in huge clouds with ehr enxt words, "Fuck! I just ruined the moment. I'm sorry."

When she continued he raised an eyebrow quizzically and telling her, "Wow, then i guess I would have liked to have known you fifteen years ago then." He said with a laugh, again teasing her a bit. Her next words though erased his smile from his face for a moment. "You do like me right?" ..... Uhh ohh, he thought. Should he lie to her? No. She would probably know if he was lying anyway, After a few seconds of racing thoughts he decided to just go with and and tell her the honest to goodness truth about what he thought. "Fuck! I just ruined the moment. I'm sorry." Her words at that moment made him speak up then and there. "Nah you did not at all." He started off a bit silent. "And its just that I hope you did not take me as some shallow guy that only wanted sex and nothing but." He continued on. "But yeah, I do like you." He finished with a squeeze of her hand to try and reassure her. It was true, although he could not honestly say that he loved her at this point in what 'relationship if you would call it that they had together. But his feelings had been growing about her. Even if they were a bit hard for him to show it. Silently putting what was left of his cigarette out he looked up at her, trying to connect his gaze with hers as he waited for what she might say next.

Chleo smiled at his words. She seemed to be doing that a lot lately. And it was an unfamiliar feeling to her. The muscles of her cheeks hadn't pulled a genuine smile in years. But around Erick it was almost impossible to not smile. "I didn't think that at all. It was more of...something to solidify the idea in brain. I haven't exactly had anything romantic with anyone in the past 15 years as well. So it's a...foreign feeling? I guess that's the best way to describe it. Also it just kind of popped out. The brain to mouth filter still doesn't exist since the post-orgasmic haze is still going on."
Chleo liked the feeling she got around Erick. It was a feeling she hadn't had in a while. Not since Wade. A little part of her mind nagged that she was betraying Wade. But she muffled it with reminders that Wade was dead and Erick wasn't. That Erick wanted her. And it was a good feeling to be wanted again. She didn't need Erick. No she simply wanted him and she could easily admit that. No doubt he wanted her as well. Not needed. But Chleo knew that she needed Erick to want her. He had poked through walls that she had built after Wade and had done so with great force. And he'd reminded her that somewhere deep down Chleo was still there and there wasn't only the killer. Not just the animal known as Bagheera. No she didn't love him. Or need him. But she damn well wanted him.
