Abilities
Powers: Paresh has the ability of empathy. He can sense others' emotions, and attempt to project certain feelings onto others. The "recipient's" mental capacity determines how much he can project onto them. He tends to use his powers more than Naresh, but also understands that it is a violation of someone's personal boundaries, so tries to restrain use for certain situations.
Power Flaws: His powers tend to cause him migraines, especially after extensive uses. As previously mentioned, His abilities are dependent on a person's mental capacity. If a person is a telepath, or has the power of mind control/manipulation, it is harder for him to use his empathic transference on them. He has a moderate control over his powers, but if a room is too "crowded" for him, he will sense a flood of emotions, and cannot quite block it out.

Overall History: Paresh was born on April 19, 1979 to Ishana and Devesha Gupta, along with his twin brother, Naresh. In their chilhood, Paresh and Naresh were almost inseperable. Once puberty hit, though, problems began to arise, as Naresh's powers began to develop. After an incident which neither twin would care to talk about (Naresh made a joke, which, due to Naresh's power, Paresh took seriously) they became seperated for a few years. Naresh went to Xavier's institute, while Paresh went to a boarding school in Britain. They were thirteen at this point.
Two years after enrolling in boarding school, Paresh's power of empathy started to develop. Because he didn't know what was going on, or how to control it, he at times succumbed to fits of rage, or bouts of depression, for no given reason. After a rather nasty incident, in which he forced two fellow students into a fury and became incapacitated by a migraine due to the incident, his parents determined that the boarding school was not the place for him, and transferred him to Xavier's institute as well, at the age of fifteen.
While at Xavier's Institute, Paresh showed an acute understanding of genetics, and had started to discover the predjudice the world held him in due to his differences. After he left the institute, he was offered an internship with Worthington labs. He was there for only a few months when he discovered that the pharmaceutical company was working on a "cure" for the X gene. After this discover, he dropped the internship, and joined his brother, who was a member of the brotherhood, and has never left.

As he paced his room, Paresh was deep in thought as he contemplated what he had just felt. Darkness, silence, yet turmoil wound so far in, it had become part of the very fibers that created him. He was bitter at the world, yet had every right to be so, considering what he had gone through in his early years. Being captured, tagged, and thrown behind bars, just for the amusement of lesser beings who didn't understand that just because he was different, it didn't mean he didn't have emotions as well. Paresh walked over to his desk, lit a candle so that the scent of vanilla wafted through the air, and started nibbling on a banana, contemplating the deep irony of it all. Throwing the peel in the compost bin, he traveled down the hallway. "Stupid bonabo monkeys," he muttered to himself. "I've got to stop traveling to the zoo on my days off."
