Abilities
Powers:
Naresh has the power of mind control or as he likes to call it domination. The basic idea is thathe can alter the perceptions of pother and control others actions with his mind. Though his strong point is controlling others minds. He is well practiced at the art of mind control and understands that it is an art as well as a power and respects it as such. Naresh also refuses to use his power willy-nilly. There is much good and much bad that can come from control someone else's mind. And a smart man knows what may come and if it's worth it. The mark of a true artist.
Power Flaws:
During the use of his power and for a while after Naresh has a difficult finding the line between himself and his subject. He isn't quite sure where they end and he begins. And it isn't a feeling he quite enjoys. Telikentics and telepaths (mutants who's powers have to do specifically with the complete use of the mind) he has a much harder time breaking into. Their brains are designed for the difficult tasks of their own powers and it makes it diffuclt for him to enter and difficult to control. And while it is easier for him to enter the minds of those in a weakened state of mind (drugged, drunk, tired, etc.) there is only so much control he can maintain because of how erratic the subconscious is.

+ his badass brain
+ modernized crossbow

Thoughts on The Cure:
"One can not fix a problem that doesn't exist. We don't condemn those who are born with two different colored eyes and that is only a genetic mutation. We walk amongst others with genetic mutations every day. And we speak nothing of it. And while their mutations are not as "scary" or "strange" as ours. They're not the next step of evolution. There is nothing to fix. Thus there is nothing to cure. Which means The Cure...is nothing."

Overall Personality:
Naresh is an intellectual. He is smart and is designed for conversations. Not about politics and what's going on the world. No such ideas bore him. But the ideas of the universe. Philosophy. Religion. Things that involve deep, intense thought. As this is the type of person that he is. As his power has to do with his mind, and controlling the minds of others, he relies upon his mind. He treats it as his biggest asset. And while Naresh is intelligent, he is not a genius nor is he a robot.
Naresh is much more aggressive than his twin brother Paresh. He enjoys talking and having a lot of focus on him. As well as being quite direct. He doesn't believe one should sugar coat ideas as the world is a cruel and dark place where only the strong (in a manner of speaking) survive. He has a certain sense of pride and smugness because, while he doesn't abuse it, he does have the power to make people do what he wants. And the idea gives him a strong sense of satisfaction. Though a part of Naresh is insecure. He isn't a big guy and he isn't designed for close combat. The only thing he feels defines him is his intellect and his abilities. And in a way it almost saddens him.

Overall History:
Naresh was born to Ishana and Devesha Gupta on April 9th, 1979 along with is twin brother Paresh. Growing up Paresh and Naresh were each others best friends. They were inseparable. And all seemed well between them until about puberty. At age 13, Naresh's powers began to manifest and due to his close bond with his twin he began to control Paresh without realizing it. When the knowledge of what he was doing hit him (he made a joke that was then taken seriously by Paresh due to the mind control, a joke he doesn't wish to remember) he told his parents. Having gone through these experiences as well they decided to try and find Naresh the help they had never got.
They sent him off to Xavier's Institute, as much as it pained him to be separated from his brother. There he was surrounded by others like him and began to learn to control his powers. And it was there he learned of the prejudice that was held against mutants. As well as mutants to humans. And he began to wonder about the nature of what he was, how he became this way, and what exactly it meant. And thus the philosophical intellectual was born. At school is where he learned that it was a genetic mutation. A next step in evolution. And he began to toy with the idea of what that really meant. Were they the next step in the human race? And if so did it mean they were destined to become the dominant species?
Through the school grape vine Naresh learned about the Brotherhood and it wasn't long after that his brother came to the institute. They made plans to join the organization after leaving the institute. And to pass the time until the Naresh started writing fictional short stories that all took place in the same universe. A post-apocalyptic world where genetically mutating yourself through unnatural ways was the only means to survival. His first collection was published on his 22nd birthday.
Naresh wasn't at Liberty Island nor was he at Alkali Lake though he was a key player in obtaining information for both occasions. He did participate in the battle of Alcatraz. Hiding on the sidelines, shooting his crossbow and controlling those mutants who were foreseeable going to use their powers hastily and without thinking. He and his brother still reside with the Brotherhood and have began to gather more forces towards the movement.
